After a study at a nearby hospital, Team Saxo Bank’s Nick Nuyens was delighted to have suffered only superficial scratches during the downpour on today’s single start in Paris-Nice:
“Fortunately, there were no broken bones. But I am very sore and especially the hip took a hard hit in the fall. My preparations for the Flanders Tour are only in danger if I do not complete Paris-Nice, so I really hope to be able to sit on the bike again tomorrow, ”says a proposed Nick Nuyens.
Tomorrow’s stage in Paris-Nice is 185 kilometers long and a delicious treat for the sprinters of the race.
