Jonathan Cantwell is a new member of Team Saxo Bank from 2012 and with 58 wins in the bag in Asia, Australia and North America, the experienced Australian sprinter looks forward to being able to transfer his past success to the protour and of course Team Saxo Bank.
The 29-year-old Australian now has 15 years of road experience. In the years 2000-2003 he ran several races in Europe for the Australian national team and participated in the world championships in Plouy, France. In 2004-2005, he got 35 top-10 rankings for the U26 squad, Squadra Bibanese, before moving to Jittery Joe’s pro Cycling Team in 2007 and then Fly V Australia, where teammate David Tanner has also been very successful.
Jonathan can undoubtedly become an important part of the locomotive when driving for the Haedo brothers in the big sprints, but there is also good reason to believe that Jonathan himself is taking the chance and driving himself among the foremost when making the decision fall into a spurt.
